Anstey Parish Council act as the burial authority for Anstey Village Cemetery. The Council prides itself in managing and maintaining an essential amenity.
The cemetery is open daily.
Pedestrian access is unrestricted.
The cemetery car park is for the use of visitors to the cemetery only.
The Exclusive Right of Burial is solely for the use of people who at the date of death were ordinarily residents in the Parish of Anstey. However, if the deceased has recently moved away through illness or for nursing home care, they may (at the discretion of the Parish Council) be buried in the Cemetery.
Ashes, including those of non-residents, can be scattered within The Garden of Remembrance. The scattering of ashes in this area does not convey any Exclusive Right of Burial.
